These were a gift for my Mum who has arthritis in both thumbs. She said they are now her favourite mugs and she looks forward to her morning coffee everyday. She said they’re incredibly comfortable to hold and don’t hurt her hands like normal mugs do. I’m so thrilled that she’s thrilled!! She’s already asked for 2 white ones as a Christmas gift.
My husband has neuropathy in his hands. The handle on this mug makes it much easier for him to grasp securely. The only drawback is the size of the mug. A 16 oz. mug would be more useful and I would definitely purchase that size.
I had been given one Jamber cup by a friend who knows of my “essential tremor”. I was happy to learn how to get a couple more, because the cup is not only comfortable to hold, but is tall enough that with 8 oz of coffee there is room enough that as I walk across the room with it, it doesn’t slosh out. And the height means I can even use a straw in it, as I often do at my desk. Nice style and colors too!
My arthritic hands have been saved by the Jamber mug. I've already had surgery on 2 fingers, multiple steroid injections, occupational therapy, splints of all sorts and now out of options. Jamber has allowed me to "carry on".
I returned them because the lip of the cup was too thick. Each sip left a dribble on the outside of the cup. I am used to a bone china mug which has a thin lip. The service was excellent but the mug did not suit me.
I bought Jamber Mugs for my mom who has osteoarthritis in her wrists and elbows, and carpal tunnel in her thumbs. She is always suggesting them to people, I think that says it all! I loved them so much I came back and bought a set for myself. Now my brother and his fiance want a set as a wedding gift!
